Initial Location in Lower Hogsfield

When you first encounter Arn, he can be found standing near the water in Lower Hogsfield, just south of Hogwarts Castle. At this stage of the game, he acts as a quest giver rather than an active merchant. Speaking with him initiates the side quest titled Carted Away, where you are tasked with recovering his stolen carts from Ranrok's loyalists.

Completing the Carted Away Side Quest

To access Arn's merchant inventory, you must first complete his rescue mission by traveling to the nearby enemy camp. After defeating the loyalist guards, you need to open the main gate to release his captured carts. Once the quest is turned in, Arn thanks you and promises to set up shop once his belongings are returned.

Where to Find Arn's Permanent Merchant Shop

After completing his quest, Arn relocates permanently to a new spot in the Hogwarts Valley region. You can find his shop located south of the Central Hogwarts Valley Floo Flame, positioned just west of a wooden bridge. If he does not immediately appear at this spot, resting or fast-traveling away and back will trigger his spawn.
